ProDisc-C Surgeon Education Program

The clinical success of ProDisc-C Total Disc Replacement surgery is dependent upon many factors, including patient selection, thorough discectomy and remobilization, and proper placement of the ProDisc-C implant within the disc space.

The ProDisc-C surgeon education program is designed to give surgeons the tools they need to perform ProDisc-C Total Disc Replacement surgery and achieve optimal clinical results. During the forum, participants will take part in classroom lectures, case study reviews, and hands-on bioskills labs and review a real-time surgery moderated by experienced surgeon faculty.

In order to perform ProDisc-C Total Disc Replacement surgeries, a surgeon must attend the ProDisc-C Forum and complete each of the following three training modules:

1. Design Philosophy, Indications and Patient Selection

2. Case Review

3. Surgical Technique

Upon successful completion of ProDisc-C training, surgeons will be equipped with the tools necessary to perform ProDisc-C Total Disc Replacement, including:

  • Access to ProDisc-C implants and instrumentation
  • The highest quality OR technical support
  • Full support from reimbursement specialists to assist in obtaining insurance payments
